The Cross

Happy Easter!
Before we can understand the resurrection, we go back and talk about what happened at the cross.
First, we must acknowledge that Jesus truly died on the cross. Then, we can start to discover what He did there. Through his death, we were given an incredible inheritance. The cross was part of God’s unchanging plan to open the door for us to come back into His family.

Secondly, we must acknowledge that what happened to Jesus at the cross happened to us too. We share in His death and His resurrection. Now, taking up our cross daily is remembering daily what happened on the cross and living in the freedom of our relationship with Him.
